The College of Agriculture, Life & Environment Sciences has been established for the development of national and regional communities, development of agriculture and farming communities, securing of a stable supply of food for the enhancement of farmers’ income and welfare, production, processing, and distribution of eco-friendly and functionally high-value-added agricultural products, creation of green growth foundation, and development of agricultural and life experts for efficient use of local resources. Currently, the college is carrying out national projects such as the 4th stage of the BK21 Project, National University Development Project, Academy-industry Cooperation Leading University Project, Regional Innovation Projects based on University Cooperations, etc., thus fulfilling its social responsibility to develop regional advancement and agricultural and biotechnological development. In addition, the college is working to produce global talents that can lead future agriculture and life industry with its volunteer activities in farming regions, international volunteer programs, employment programs, and regional scholarship supports.
