Korea Local Education Institute
The Korea Local Education Institute, which mainly researches Ministry of Education policies, aims to become the world's best local education center and play a role as the local education hub. It is trying to support policy-making for developing local education autonomy (as Think-tank for the successful promotion of local education policies) and revitalize local education through innovation in local education.
Major Projects
The institute carries out fundamental as well as temporary ongoing tasks related to education policy designated by the Ministry of Education, and continues to conduct research according to the institute’s own ‘vision and plan for educational development.’ It also tries to establish a school management and learning system to revitalize public education. It strives to function as a core research institute to create driving force for developing and fostering local education and maximizing the educational potential of local communities.
