The Bigdata Research Institute was established to support informationization projects to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs because their internal and external business environment is gradually deteriorating compared to that of large companies. Based on Article 2 of the Act on Special Measures to Promote Management Stability and Restructuring of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, SME informatization aims to enable SME managers to use computers to automate factories, computerize business management, automate distribution management, and establish a computer network for SMEs.
