College of Engineering
The College of Engineering was established to “develop engineering talents” that can lead sustainable regional and national industrial development and development of future engineering technology. Recently, the college has been striving to produce ‘creative-convergent engineering talents’ that will lead new industries amidst the rapid changes in advanced technological fields such as secondary batteries, new materials, future automobiles, AI, eco-friendly digital construction, carbon neutrality, and more. The college carries out 7 major national policy projects, such as the 4th stage of the BK21 Project, the Next-gen Eco-friendly Industry Expert Talent Development Project, Secondary Battery Innovative Convergent University Project, Special Project for Recycling of Waste Resources into Energy, a Trial Project of Platform-building for Academy-industry Cooperation for Secondary Batteries, etc., thus leading academy-industry cooperation and fulfilling the social responsibility of developing advanced technology. In addition, the college provides disaster management talent development project scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, while offering the Capstone Design Contest, disaster-prevention engineering, urban regeneration, and smart ecological industry convergence cooperative courses, thus putting effort in leading changes and becoming a “Glocal College of Engineering” that partnership with local communities for a better future.
