Research Institute for Development of Pharmaceutical Resources
The Research Institute for Development of Pharmaceutical Resources was established on December 1, 1969, to carry out basic research on pharmaceutical resources to develop new medicine, and to contribute to pharmaceutical technology development and industry-university cooperation. Since then, it has conducted continuous research to develop various pharmaceutical resources from natural and synthesized compounds. It runs Academic Department, Basic Medicine Research Department, Resource Development Department, Medical Effect Examination Department, Medicine Development Department, Medicine Analysis Department, and Stability Research Department to conduct overall research on pharmaceutical resources as well as basic research on biopharmaceutics, and publishes an academic journal and a newsletter every year. It also holds academic conferences and symposiums frequently at home and abroad, covering all areas of basic and applied pharmaceutics, which contribute to promoting pharmaceutical resources R&D.
