Biohealth Convergence Open sharing University has been established with the aim of training biohealth expert talents that will lead the regional and global fields. Biohealth Convergence Open sharing University serves the central role at the University system of Chungbuk Bio-PRIDE that was established with the cooperation of 14 universities in Chungcheongbuk-do province and Chungcheongbuk-do provincial office, based on the ‘Local Government-University Cooperation Regional Innovation Project’ which is overseen by the Ministry of Education. The college also provides diverse courses (e.g., Nano-degree, Micro-degree, Minor, Multiple Majors, etc.) for the diploma and degree acquirement of students, allowing them to freely choose from the common curriculum of 14 universities that specialize in bio-industrial fields. By providing opportunities to participate in the Innovative Talent Subsidy Supports, Employment & Startup Clubs and Expo, Global Sharing Courses, etc., the college is emphasizing the development of local demand-specific talents and global bio-talents.
